Questions? Answers

What is the Earn Account?

The Earn Account is an investment account into which members can deposit money and get a 5% annual yield in return. Members keep the original amount invested plus the yield generated as a bonus. Earnings are automatically added to the Earn Account every week. Members can withdraw their money at any time. We recommend keeping your money in the Earn Account to accumulate compound interest and earn even more in the long term.

What is the Prize Account?

The Prize Account is a prize-linked account where all members generate yield collectively. The yield is raffled and distributed randomly to a pool of winners once a week. Yield starts being generated immediately after the current week’s raffle. Members keep the original amount they invest regardless of whether they win or not.

Can I earn money simultaneously with the Earn Account and the Prize Account?

You are flexible and can allocate your money to either account separately or both at the same time. Imagine you deposit 500 euros. You could deposit 100 euros in your Earn Account and 400 euros in your Prize Account. You could also deposit 250 euros in your Earn Account and 250 euros in your Prize Account. You are free to choose.

How does Rand make money?

We generate yield with the money our members deposit in their Prize & Earn Accounts. We use Web3 and AI technology to deploy market-neutral trading strategies like margin lending, market-making, and basis trading. These are managed under a strict risk management policy framework where the capital is fully collateralized and deployed in a market-neutral way to protect funds from any market risk or volatility.

Can I withdraw my money whenever I want?

You can withdraw your money whenever you want. However, keep in mind that withdrawing money from your Earn Account means that you generate less yield and will get a smaller bonus. Similarly, taking money out of your Prize Account in between weekly raffles significantly reduces your chances of winning. If you don’t have any money at all in your Prize Account you will not be eligible to participate in the weekly prize distribution.

How does Rand protect my money?

At Rand, your security is our number one priority. Every cent you add to your checking account is secured by banking infrastructure. The money that you deposit in your Prize and Earn Accounts is managed under a strict risk management policy where the capital is fully collateralized and deployed in a market neutral way to protect funds from any market shift.

Does Rand have transfer fees?

There are no transfer fees when you use Rand. You don’t need to worry about any fees or costs when you move money in between your accounts.
